About The Founders
Aaron Rogers and Rashad Johnson, co-founders of The Breed Entertainment and the New Haven Black Wall Street Festival (in partnership with the City of New Haven), are recognized as t accomplished and influential figures in the music industry. As 2x Grammy-nominated producers and songwriters, they have sold over 10 million records and achieved multi-platinum status, solidifying their place among the elite in their field.
Their impact extends beyond music, having been named among the NAACP’s Most Influential Black People of 2024 and receiving an official proclamation from Governor Ned Lamont, designating June 29th as “The Breed Ent Day” in Connecticut. Additionally, they founded The Breed Academy, a music and arts training and workforce academy for young artists, highlighting their commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent.
